Young Doctors Surgery for the 1's: Vandals await for the 2's

A road trip for the 1st XV in their opening ADM League Div 1 fixture.

This time to face the Manchester Medics RFC.

The Young Doctors live a semi nomadic existence, now having moved from the shadow of Man. City's Ethiad Stadium to leafy -ish Broughton Park RUFC, where they are residing this season. [M21 7TL]

Always a fit young side as you would expect from a student based outfit, but with the 1st XV 's average age being drastically reduced they should be up for a fast top of the ground running game.

Meanwhile the Kirky's 2's entertain Fylde Vandals at Littlemoor.

The old heads of the Vandals always travel well. Though , your correspondent noticed from pics of their game last week - that there were one or two of what can only be described as - 'young blades' on the pitch. Easily identifiable by the fact they were sporting a full head of hair - as opposed to their team mates!!
So a good tussle is expected as the two teams lock horns at 3pm.
Come on down and cheer the boys/men/granddads on.

On Sunday the Colts are away at Bolton. 2pm kick off at Avenue Street.
A tricky opener last week for a young and almost scratch side showed glimpses that this team can grow together over the season. It might take a few games to gell but there is masses of promise. Go well boys.

Earlier the U15's entertain old friends Burnley U15's for an 11am ko.
Again some great lads there expertly guided by Mr B! Pop down and have a look at the future.
