The 2's hosted Bury 3rds to wrap up their season in Div 4 (North/Central) in the NOWIRUL Leagues.
This win leapfrogged them above Garstang by one point, but that is not the story here.

The fact that at one stage during the season it was looking like we may not be able to fulfill our fixtures and have to drop out of the league - which would have been a disaster - the young lads turned a corner in the last few weeks and finished on a high. So every credit to all concerned who cajoled/threatened/bribed lads to get their boots back on and support their mates and the club. Thank you all.
