Junior Rugby Presentations & Fun Day

Junior Rugby Presentations & Fun Day

Bob Wilkinson13 Jun - 09:52

Last Sunday saw the CRUFC Junior ranks hold their presentation and fun day.

It’s was absolutely heartwarming to see the amazing camaraderie and club spirit as Parents and players started arriving at 09:20 onwards. All bringing extremely generous food donations for a buffet Feast befitting of Henry V111 and his full Court, to Fortress Littlemoor…

The 10am start saw the volunteers and consistently brilliant Coaches organising some really fun games that all the players joyfully engaged in.

Sack races, some extremely competitive tug of war battles, slip and slide to name but a few.. The Author and his fellow coaches especially enjoyed the water fights that culminated in some serious Karma… As the relevant players and many others completely drenched their Coaches as an end on Season ‘thank you’ ?…

The weather was kind and held off right through to the serious stuff… Coaches and Players alike got changed into their more appropriate attire and it was time for the Speeches and awards.

A full Clubhouse was an immeasurably proud sight to behold, packed full of our future Senior Rugby players and their amazing Parents and Grandparents.

Players gratefully received their awards and in age order the buffet was besieged and what looked like an excess of food was decimated by the hungry hoards..

Closing speeches thanked everyone for making the day such a success. Thanks to Robyn Hardman for marshalling the food donations,Curph, Safeguarding Kelly and Coaches, roped in Husbands and parent volunteers for the military planning and execution.

A perfect day, a proud Day for CRUFC. The best sport on the planet ❤️?
