Skipper is Ready for the 'off'

Club Captain Ben Graves says his troops are primed and ready for the start of the campaign away at Tarleton. Having trained well together they are now ready for the real thing.

As ever a few players unavailable have left openings and opportunities for others.
The back line has a familiar look to it; the back three of Martin Lafrancheschina and James Dickinsons jnr & snr have bags of gas. In midfield the partnership of Mattie Bartle and Scouse Callaghan will be one for Littlemoor regulars to watch, hopefully, blossom this season. With dependable Dave Watson at out half and hyperactive Smudge Smith at scrum half, good things are expected.
Up front, the tight five, in the main, are vastly experianced. Bobby Wilkinson and Steve Dowson well balanced at lock, and Aarron Atkison, Richie Edmondson and the skipper Graves carry plenty of weight into the scrum.
A new look back row of blind side Roger Carins, No 8 Mark Curphy and open side Simon Cowgill look to be as powerfull as any and will be key to ensuring the link between forwards and backs.
Both, Russ Shiels and Martin O'Conner, are away in Scotland and Ralph Rigby is on a hot date with some sheep.
