The sun shines on the righteous
Quite a day on Saturday. The sun shone, rugby was played, kids ran amok ?, food and drink were consumed. And we all had a great time!
The colts put on a showcase of how rugby in the 21st century should be played in an exciting 7's game. Some stars of the very near future on show.
In the main game it was nip and tuck all the way with a mixture of ages and styles from across the years.
Many thanks to Ollie & Christopher Barraclough for referee duties . Another first - a father and son refereeing team.
Not quite sure which team won but rugby and CRUFC were the winners.
Man of the Match awards went to Joe Wilkinson and Struan Robertson.
The Colin Silcock Spirit of Rugby award went to the well deserved mantlepiece of Jake Procter.
Roll on 2022-23 season.
