Another sad loss

The club is saddend to learn of the passing of Phil Dinsdale

Phil a well known larger than life player for the club and made is debut in the clubs inaugural season and was playing in the first ever victory for Clitheroe against Old Alwynians in December 1977. He developed into a combative hooker and was a strong advocate of the 'two footed rucking' technique he invented himself!
There was never a dull moment in his company on and off the pitch and we are poorer for his passing.
He was a strong family man and we send out our heartfelt condolences to his family and many friends.

A service will be held at St Mary's Parish Church, Clitheroe on Monday 13th November at 11am followed at Accrington crematorium at 12.20pm
