The 1sts travel make the quick trip down the M66 to play North Manchester.
Back in October the Maroons put North away at Littlemoor 22-12, but in the intervening time fortunes have waxed and waned for both teams.
Clitheroe showed a dip in form and then had a string of postponements before the break whereas North have had a couple of good wins to put them one place above Clitheroe in the table.
However they also have not played for some time so it is definitely a case of a new year new start.
Clitheroe need to get back into the early season groove quickly to mount a serious challenge for the top half of the table that they are fully capable of. There are no short cuts, just hard graft and willingness to regain the 'in it together' and 'can do' attitude.
We have a great skipper with Will Dickenson and a top coach in Getty Schinkel - get behind them on and off the pitch and give them the support they deserve.

Meanwhile the 2's, after a morale boosting win over Blackburn just prior to Christmas, welcome Thornton Cleveleys to Littlemoor.
Thornton were very strong at home early in the season but Clitheroe will be more confident on their own paddock, of producing a top performance.
