The traditional end of the season frolics

This Saturday sees another season, our 40th, draw to a close on the pitch with our Presidents Day.

This is the, by now, legendary open 'Barbarian' style game that finishes things off with aplomb.
Although a fun family afternoon, the rugby is always, well mainly, serious stuff.

If you want to dust your boots off and have trundle out then come on down, you are very welcome.
Kick off is at 3pm.

If you don't want the rough and tumble of full contact there's is an open invitation for a mixed Touch Rugby game before hand (15yrs+)
Kick off for that is at 1pm

So young and old, former player or otherwise you are offered a warm welcome to join the President and family at Littlemoor on Saturday

There will be a BBQ on and of course the bar will be open all day for refreshments

The teams compete for the Nick Hopwood Memorial Trophy
Nick was our very first President, a larger than life character who sadly passed away in 1983.
The Man of the Match for the home team is awarded the Bob Howarth Memorial Cup.*
Bob was our Chairman when he passed away suddenly also in 1983
There is also another special award to be unveiled on the day.....

*flash back to 2013 when a certain colonial kiwi - Darren Eagle- being presented with, in spite of being improperly dressed, the Bob Howarth Cup from the President, Colin Silcock
